Batch Execution 5.1 includes a new Tabular Recipe Builder. The Tabular Recipe Editor is provided as an alternative to SFC Recipe Editor. It allows you to create recipes by simply selecting the appropriate units and phases in a linear, sequential format. With a single mouse click, the tabular recipe is automatically transformed to the SFC (Sequential Function Chart) recipe format suitable for execution by the Batch Server. The tab delimited exports that the Tabular Recipe Editor allow for use of other spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft Excel in your recipe development.
Supported Operating SystemsThe operating systems supported by the Batch Execution product include:
Microsoft® Windows® XP Professional, Service Pack 2. Since Windows XP has continuous updates, you should run the Windows update feature to get the latest software. Microsoft® Windows® 2000, Professional, Server, or Advanced Server Edition, with at least Service Pack 4 required. Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003, Service Pack 2, Standard or Enterprise Edition. Since Windows Server 2003 has continuous updates, you should run the Windows update feature to get the latest software.
Software RequirementsThe minimum Batch Execution software requirements include:

Microsoft® SQL Server 2000, SP4. Microsoft® SQL Server 2005, SP2. Oracle® 9i. Oracle® 10g.
Microsoft Visual SourceSafe 6.0 or 2005, if using the WorkInstruction feature.
